Refund policy

Returns

Printed Acoustic will accept returns for the following 2 reasons only:

  • If the product is to be exchanged with another product. Please refer to the section Exchanges.
  • If the product has been damaged in transport or has visible production defects. Please refer to the section Refunds (or replacements).
Conditions for eligibility

In order for your return to be accepted, it may not have been used and must be in the same condition as when it was received. 

Please contact us at info@printedacoustic.com to request your return (exchange or refund) within 7 days of receiving your order.

The client is responsible for any shipping costs(1) regarding the return of an order. The client will receive a bill by email to cover the cost of the return. It is also possible to deduct the price of the return from your refund.  

A $20.00 CAD return processing fee will be deducted from your refund.

Please note that shipping fees associated with your order are non-refundable.

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. All items on sale are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Exchanges

In order for your exchange to be accepted the article must not have been used and must be in the same condition as when it was received.  

  1. To request an exchange please contact us at info@printedacoustic.com within 7 days of receiving your order.
  2. We will provide a shipping label to be fixed to the carefully packaged item. It may then be shipped by the corresponding transport company.
    The client is responsible for any shipping costs(1) regarding the return of an order. The client will receive a bill by email to cover the cost of the return. It is also possible to deduct the price of the return from your exchange.
  3. Once the item is received by Printed Acoustic, it will be inspected and a decision upon its eligibility for exchange will be made. If accepted a refund will be completed so a new purchase can be made.

Refund (or Replacement)

If your order is damaged during transport, if there are printing or production errors or if you have not received the item you ordered, please contact Printed Acoustic via email at info@printedacoustic.com within 7 days of receiving your order.

In order to confirm if your order is eligible for a refund or a replacement, we ask that many pictures of the error in question be sent to us.

After evaluation of the photos and some discussion with the client, Printed Acoustic will make a decision concerning the request for refund or replacement.

Here are the steps to follow in the case that the request for refund or of a replacement is accepted:

  1. You may choose to replace the article, at no charge to you, or to be refunded.
  2. Should you choose to return the product, Printed Acoustic will supply a shipping label to be applied to the carefully packaged return. It may then be shipped with the corresponding transport company.  
  3. In the case that the damaged article can not be replaced or is not recommended, a refund will be applied. A credit for the cost(2) will be applied to the payment method used at the moment of the original purchase.

A $20.00 CAD return processing fee will be deducted from your refund.

Printed Acoustic reserves the right to decline the request for returns, exchanges, replacements and refunds for any of the following situations:

  • When the request is submitted more that 7 days following reception of the order,
  • If the item has been used and is no longer suitable for resale,
  • If the article has already been installed by you or by a third party,
    It is the clients responsibility to verify the quality of the article upon reception. Any errors in printing or fabrication are detectable before installation.
  • If you or a third party installer makes an error during installation,
    We recommend that you follow the installation guide provided in your package. The preparation and installation details are explained in detail. Please proceed with the preparation of the surface should you or a third party be installing your order. In no situation will Printed Acoustic refund the cost for a third party installer nor are we responsible for any errors they may make. The order should be verified for any possible errors before installation. We cannot process the cancellation of your order in the case that your order is not suitable for installation. Read the instructions carefully, watch the installation video and please contact us if you have any questions or concerns before or during installation.
  • If, after evaluation and discussion, the team establishes that there is no fabrication error and that any damage can be easily repaired,
    Ex: It is possible to “erase” any wrinkles in the vinyl but gently heating the surface with a hair dryer. We have a video demonstrating this technique that we would be happy to share. Contact us with any questions or concerns.

Cancellation or Modification of an order

The cancellation or modification of an order is possible ONLY if the order has not yet been printed. To make a request please contact us at info@printedacoustic.com or call us at 1 877-547-8480.

Custom Prints

Custom prints, that is images, photographs and files provided by the clients, are not available for exchange or refund.  

By ordering a custom project with their own image, photo or file, the customer agrees to have the rights to the said files. Printed Acoustic is not responsible for any customized prints that infringe upon trademarks or intellectual property rights of the images, photos or files submitted by the client. The custom is solely responsible for the rights of the submitted images, photos or files.


  1. Delivery costs for exchanges and returns vary according to the dimensions and weight of the package and the address of reception.
  2. Shipping costs and graphic design costs from the original order are not refundable. If your request for a refund is accepted, the shipping costs and any graphic design costs will be deducted from the total to be reimbursed.
